The Castle Guesthouse was built in 2005 adjacent to the 2+ acre oceanfront estate of Cayman Castle; one of the premier oceanfront rental villas on the island of Grand Cayman. The guesthouse was built with the same architectural theme, finishes and amenities as the Castle itself. Built atop a 25 ft. high bluff, the Castle Guesthouse has a commanding 180° view of the waters within reef-protected waters of Cayman's East End. It is a perfect intimate retreat for two couples, a small family or as additional lodging for a larger family leasing the 4BR Castle itself.

The "Wreck of the 10 Sails" monument and the East End Police Officer's residence are directly next door to the Castle property. The castle is within walking distance (250 yds.) of the best dive operator on the island, Ocean Frontiers as well as Vivine's Backyard (great lunch, Cayman Islands Style-150 yds. North) and Arlain's Restaurant to the South (200 yds). We are 1.5 miles South of Portofino's restaurant. The East End of the island also has restaurants at both the Morritt's Tortuga Club and Royal Reef resorts.

We now have a local Fosters grocery store across from the Reef Resort (3 miles north). Each resort offers oceanfront pools, great beaches for the kids, restaurants, beach bars, water-sports rentals (windsurfers, jetskiis, paddle boats, kayaks, etc.) and they welcome you with open arms to spend the day on their resort. The famous Lighthouse restaurant is only 10 minutes away.

The Castle Guesthouse has many conveniences and amenities; stacked washer/dryer, full kitchen, satellite television and quality furniture and appliances. The guesthouse also offers a 2-zone air-conditioning system and pure city water (from the CI Water Authority desalinization plant). We do not have to rely on rainfall or a cistern/pump system for water pressure. Zoysia grass on either side of the oceanfront pool feels great on bare feet and provide a nice place to sunbathe. Access to the beach in front of the Castle Guesthouse is somewhat limited by the rocky hill. The limestone rocks below the Castle Guesthouse are rough on the feet. Access to our sandy beach just south of Castle may be made from the road.

The (North) King Bedroom Suite overlooks the Caribbean through its (3) picture windows and also has a single French door to the covered oceanfront patio. The furniture is mostly Maine Cottage, with some local West Indies plantation chairs for reading. The floors are tiled throughout this 15' x 25' suite, with separate A/C controls. Rattan ceiling
